Special Quilt discovered at Archer Service Center

Members of the Archer Service Center staff are preparing for the annual online fundraising auction.

In the filing room wrapped in a plastic bag they discovered a patchwork quilt. Over 30 panels on the quilt had embroidered names presumed to be Archer County citizens dating as far back as 1931.

Many years ago, a group of women apparently got together to produce a quilt for the ages.
