Georgiana Handy, age 82, of Archer City, passed away Sunday morning, May 30, in Wichita Falls.
Graveside services will be held 1 p.m. Fri day, June 25, in the Archer City Cemetery with her sons, Kendall Moore and Gene Moore officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Aulds Funeral Home of Archer City
Georgiana was born May 18, 1939 in Quanah, to the late Samuel August Handy and Quillie Johnnie Scarbrough Handy.
Georgiana was employed as a welder, a factory worker, a city policeman and retired from the Amarillo Department of Public Safety.
She loved working crossword puzzles and watching detective shows.
Survivors include one daughter, O’Nita Dunn of Virginia; three sons, Randy Vinson and wife, Beverly of Archer City, Roy Eugene Moore and wife, Janet of Wichita Falls, and Kendall Wayne Moore and wife, Janet of Conway, Mo.; nine grandchildren; twenty-great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by one granddaughter, Christina Michele Vinson.
