VB Roundup: Lady Cats, Lady Eagles, Trojanettes earn district wins

Archer City, Holliday and Windthorst all picked up key district wins this past week as the Lady Cats and Trojanettes both opened up league action.

Archer City (5-25, 1-1) suffered a five-set loss in its district opener to Quanah (25-17, 25-20, 18-25, 17-25, 15-12) on Saturday before rebounding to knock off Petrolia (16-25, 25-23, 2225, 25-17, 15-12) in five on Tuesday.
