Senate District 30 headed to runoff election

The Special Election in Texas Senate District 30 to replace the seat vacated by Pat Fallon resulted in two of the six candidates qualifying for runoff election on a date to be announced.

Drew Springer got 31.83% of the votes and Shelley Luther got 31.7% of the votes across the 14 counties in the district. These two candidates qualified to go head to head in the runoff. Both are Republicans. Jacob M…
