Johnson receives Sheriff 's Life Saving Award

Archer County dispatcher Whitney Johnson was recognized with the Sheriff’s Life saving Award during the commissioner’s court meeting on Monday, Feb. 27.

On Monday, Feb. 13, dispatch received a 911 call from Mankins in which the caller advised that his wife was choking on a hamburger. Dispatch was informed that first responders would be about 7-10 minutes from the call.
