A flurry of activity over the last week at the old Booked Up stores has left people wondering about the future of the books and storefront.
Larry McMurtry’s Booked Up buildings located at 211 and 214 S Center St. were sold to XVI Investments whose director is Chip Gaines, of Magnolia and HGTV fame, in November.
