Edna Marie Anderle

Edna graduated from St. Joseph School of Nursing. She was married to Charles Anderle for 65 years. Edna worked in nursing for St. Joseph’s Hospital in Fort Worth from 1959 – 1973, then went to Arlington Memorial Hospital where she retired with 40 years in nursing.

She was a member of AORN, Journal of Surgical Nurses, and Knights of Columbus K Ladies and had a passion for fishing, horseshoes and washers. She enjoyed traveling, bingo and especially spending time with family including nine grandchildren and two great grandkids.

She is survived by husband Charles, brothers Gene and Bob Poirot, son David Anderle and wife Pam, daughter Cindy Henz and husband Tim, daughter Laurie Fryar and husband Barry, and son Gary Anderle and wife Lorrie; and eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

A visitation with Rosary was on Thursday Oct. 3, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. with the Rosary at 7 p.m.

Funeral Mass was on Friday Oct. 4, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church 5819 W Pleasant Ridge Rd, Arlington, TX 76016. Burial 2 p.m. at Moore Cemetery, 1219 N. Davis Drive, Arlington, TX 76012.
