Louis William Lowe, age 65, of Windthorst, Texas passed away Monday morning, Dec. 30, 2024, at his residence.

Rosary and visitation were held at 6:30 Friday, Jan. 3, 2025, at Aulds Funeral Home of Archer City. Mass was celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 4, at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Wichita Falls with Rev. Kyle Waltersheid officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Aulds Funeral Home of Archer City.

Louis was born Feb. 16, 1959 in Wichita Falls to the late Teddy Louis Lowe and Lou Ellen Smith Lowe. He graduated from Wichita Falls High School.

Louis married the love of his life, Karen Ann Wolf, on Dec. 29, 1979 in Windthorst.

He was a truck driver throughout his life. Louis was a 3rd Degree Black Belt and taught karate for several years. He entered Karate Tournaments where he won many awards. One of the highlights of his career was judging a karate tournament with Willie Nelson who was a 5th Degree Black Belt. Louis also enjoyed fishing and cooking, however, his greatest passion was spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Louis was a member of Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Wichita Falls.

Survivors include his wife, Karen Lowe of Windthorst; daughter, Krystal Rees and husband, Mathew of Iowa Park; grandchildren, Cheyenne and Johnathan Rees; sisters, Wanda Bailey and husband, Jack of Iowa Park, and Tammy Stelley and husband, Teddy of Arnaudville, La.; brothers-inlaws, Greg Wolf and wife, Jennifer of Alabama, and Danny Wolf and wife, Vivian of Scotland; sisters-in-law, Deann Duncan and husband, Mike of Wichita Falls and Jennifer Worley and husband, Mark of Leander; and several nieces and nephews.
