Jimmy Doyle Keener, age 66, of Scotland, Texas passed away, Friday morning, Feb. 13, 2026, at his residence.

A Celebration of his life was held at 2: p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 17, at Aulds Funeral Home of Archer City with Rev. Clint Sissom officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Aulds Funeral Home of Archer City.

Jimmy was born April 15, 1959 in Wichita Falls, Texas to the late Doyleton Joe Keener and Imogene Lavell Houchen Keener.

Jimmy attended Archer City High School. He was a painter for Larry Sparks for several years. He then worked at American Glass Company until his retirement. Jimmy’s favorite pastime was fishing and hunting.

Survivors include his brother, Carl Keener and Tammy Byars of Holliday; step-daughter, Amanda Reeve of Archer City; nieces and nephews, Justin and Mandy Keener of Windthorst, Rashell Symank of Lubbock, Shelby and Brent Foster of Deer Creek and Racheal Keener and Atlas Boucher of Holliday; and many friends.

The family suggests memorials to Hospice of Wichita Falls, 4909 Johnson Road, Wichita Falls, Texas 76310 or to Scotland Volunteer Fire Department, P.O. Box 103, Scotland, Texas 76379.
