Top-ranked Indians oust Trojans in area

The Windthorst Trojans’ basketball season came to an end on Friday, Feb. 27 in Mineral Wells. After a 36-point blowout win over Stamford in the Bi-District round, Big Blue had the unfortunate task of facing off with No. 1 Lipan Indians in the Area round.

The Trojans played valiantly, but Lipan showed why they were highly- ranked with a 56-80 win over Windthorst to eliminate them from the playoffs.
