Marion Pauline D' Entremont, 76, died May 8, 2026, in Olympia, Washington. Born on May 16, 1949, in Windthorst, Texas, Marion was the daughter of Ernest and Apoline Schreiber.

Marion's formative years were rooted in Windthorst, where she graduated from Windthorst High School in 1967. Before venturing to the West Coast, she was employed at Gibsons retail store in Wichita Falls.

Marion cherished the art of hand quilting—a talent she learned from her mother and her big sister Edna. Over the years, she made many for friends and family. She also enjoyed making homemade jelly when fresh fruit was available and she enjoyed playing bingo and basketball during her high school days.

A member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Centralia, Washington, Marion’s faith was a cornerstone of her life. Her heart was especially generous as she and her beloved husband, John D' Entremont, whom she married on Jan. 2, 1971, and who preceded her in death in May 2007, opened their home as foster parents. She also worked with handicapped children in the school system. Marion’s compassionate commitment to nurturing those in need is one of her proudest accomplishments.

She is survived by sons Phillip, Mark, and Luke D' Entremont, and daughter Michelle D' Entremont. She is also remembered by her brothers Lloyd and wife Rita, Pat and wife Paulette and Mike and wife Nancy Schreiber, and her sisters Edna Krahl and husband Robert and Bernadett Rozier and husband Ralph and brother-inlaw Gene Anderle. She is preceded in death by her husband, John and son Chris D’Entromont; parents, Ernest and Apoline Schreiber, sister, Mable Anderle and brothers Tom, Harold, and Ernest R. Schreiber.
