Food Insecurity Rates Rises for Archer County

Food insecurity increased for the fourth consecutive year across the 12-county service area of the Wichita Falls Area Food Bank, according to the latest data from Feeding America.

The food insecurity rate rose from 18.7% to 19.1%, representing an estimated 1,160 additional people experiencing food insecurity over the past year. In all, 42,910 people in the service area are estimated to face hunger.
