Dorothy Sue “Susie” Hinsley Brimager, age 66, of Archer City, passed away Friday, Oct.1, 2021, in Vernon.

Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 5, at the Archer City Cowboy Church with Ricky Allen, Pastor of the Archer City Cowboy Church, officiating. Interment followed in the Archer City Cemetery under the direction of Aulds Funeral Home of Archer City.

The family received guests from 6 to 7 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 4, at Aulds Funeral Home.

Susie was born Dec. 23, 1954, in San Antonio, to the late R.D. Hinsley and Wynell Richey Hinsley.

She attended Archer City Schools and was a lifelong resident of Archer City. Susie was employed at the Archer City Nursing Home from 1994-2010 and also worked at Troy’s Drive-In. She enjoyed working puzzles, watching TV, and spending lots of time with her daughter and her dog. Susie was a member of the Archer City Cowboy Church.

Survivors include her daughter, Julie Brimager of Archer City; brother, Mike Hinsley of Ardmore, Okla.; two sisters, Linda Thompson of Norfolk, Virginia and Sandra Easley of Wichita Falls; and grandson, Johnny Ray Richey.

She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Cathy Marie Jannel; son, Lee Geis; and her sister-in-law, Pam Hinsley.
