Doug Wilson, age 74, of Holliday, passed away Thursday morning, Feb. 2, 2023, in Archer City.

Celebration of Doug’s life was held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 7, at Aulds Funeral Home with Jon Curry, Pastor of Grace Community Church of Archer City, officiating. Cremation arrangements were under the direction of Aulds Funeral Home of Archer City.

Doug was born July 22, 1948 in Richmond, Virginia to the late Alan Woodrow Wilson and Elizabeth Ann Hodges Wilson.

In 1979, he moved to Holliday. Doug was a hard worker throughout his life in the construction business and was known as a “Jack Of All Trades.” He enjoyed fishing and hunting in his spare time.

Survivors include one son, Darrell Warren Wilson of Florida; two daughters, Wendy Gayle Wilson of South Carolina and Samantha Muller and fiancé, Dakota Pullin of Archer City; brother, Fred Wilson and wife, Becky of Wichita Falls; three sisters, Brenda Sloan of Coweta, Oklahoma, Linda Canton of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Brenda Bruce of Richmond, Virginia; three grandchildren, Adam Berend, Adalynn Muller, and Charley Warren Kuhn; niece, Tressa Digby and husband, Brad of Wichita Falls; and great-nieces and nephews, Bradley and Sara Digby and Ashley and Steven Ferguson.

He was preceded in death by one sister, Judy Young.
