Gary Wayne Kuykendall, 55, of Holliday, Texas passed away May 26, 2022.

A memorial service is scheduled at the Sale Barn Cowboy Church in Jolly, Texas on Saturday, June 11, at 10 a.m. Cremation arrangements were under the direction of Aulds Funeral Home of Archer City.

Gary was born on Nov. 7, 1966, at Perrin AFB in Shearman to Hugh Lin Kuykendall and Letricia Ann Petterson Kuykendall. He graduated from S.H. Rider High School in 1984, then he worked as a mechanic and machinist. He was employed at B&B Garage in Archer City, for more than fifteen years.

Gary was well known for his humor and as a man who could fix or fabricate almost anything you brought to him. Cars, motorcycles, and racing were lifelong passions for him, and he loved to be at the racetrack. He will always be remembered for having a big heart and willing to help anyone out if he was able.

Gary was proceeded in death by his father, Hugh Lin Kuykendall.

He is survived by his mother, Letricia “Trish” Howe and husband, Leon of Wichita Falls; his daughters, Shelbi Honkomp and husband, TJ of Holliday and Jessica Kuykendall of Holliday; his sister, Denna Kuykendall of Wichita Falls; his nephews, Dalton Otto and wife, April of Wichita Falls and Zac Otto of Kansas; his grandchildren, Reyna, Bentley, Wyatt, Clayton, Layah, and Maverick; numerous cousins and other extended family; and also many friends he considered his family.
