John Russell Ihrig

John Russell Ihrig, age 83, of Henrietta, Texas passed away, Thursday, May 16, 2024, in Henrietta.

Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, June 14, 2024, in the Archer City Cemetery with Sam Bunnell, Pastor of the First Baptist Church of Henrietta, officiating. Cremation arrangements were under the direction of Aulds Funeral Home of Archer City.

John was born May 13, 1941 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to the late John P. Ihrig and Alberta Yeager Ihrig.

He married Sheron Ann Nash on Feb. 22, 1996. She preceded him in death on Jan. 21, 2021.

John graduated from Texas A&M with a Bachelor Degree in Accounting. He was a CPA throughout his life. John was an avid golfer and loved working in the yard with his wife, Sheron. He also loved his Aggies and the Dallas Cowboys.

Survivors include his sons, Derek Ihrig of Dallas, Texas; Kenny Nash and Jessica of Henrietta, and Richard Satterfield and Amber of New Braunfels; grandchildren, Ryan Ihrig and wife, Michaela, Desire Nash, Brittney Satterfield and Kayla Nash; great grandchildren, Benjamin, Zoey, Lyia, Keylan, Skylynn and Camdyn; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friend.
