Linda Lea Bridges passed away on Dec. 16, 2021 at Medical City in Dallas with her son, daughter-in-law, and granddaughters by her side.

Linda was born on Sept. 19, 1941 to Huey and Patrice Barnes and was a graduate of Holliday High School. After a short time living out of state, Linda spent most of her adult life in Holliday, the same small town she had always called home.

She held positions at both the Wichita Falls Clinic and Sheppard Air Force Base before retiring to care for her mother and nieces.

Linda was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Holliday where she occasionally helped in the nursery and wherever else she was needed. She was also a long-time member of the Order of Pythian Sisters where she held several offices at the local, state, and national levels. She was also acting treasurer for the Holliday Public Library.

Linda is preceded in death by her parents, Huey and Patrice, husband, Dean, and sister Fran.

Linda is survived by her son Dustin and daughter-in-law Cindy of Royse City granddaughters Brooke and Kaylea of Farmersville, and brother Charles.

In accordance with her wishes Linda was cremated and A Celebration of Life will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 8 at the First Baptist Church of Holliday, 408 S College Ave, Holliday, TX.
