Ruby Petit Hopkins

Ruby Petit Hopkins, age 97, of Archer City, Texas passed away Monday, March 16, 2026, in Hospice of Wichita Falls.

Graveside services were held at 3: p.m. Tuesday, March 17, in the Archer City cemetery with Lisa Musgrave of Archer City officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Aulds Funeral Home of Archer City.

Ruby was born June 9, 1928 to the late George Washington Petit and Viola Ertis Doran in Graham, Texas.

She married Harold Hopkins on Dec. 25, 1970 in Archer City. He preceded her in death on Sept. 18, 2003.

Survivors include two daughters, Shirley Roberts and Sandra Enos and husband, Carl all of Archer City; sister, Corene; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one son, Richard Bracey; two sisters, DeeDee and Janie; four brothers, Doug, Joe, Robert Andrew, Bonnie Petit.
