Boys

Archer City (17-13) fell in the bi-district round in a heartbreaker to Hawley to conclude its 2021-22 season. At the conclusion of the season, Wildcats Head Coach Andrew Morris announced his resignation to move closer to the Lubbock area.

Elijah Jackson shared Defensive MVP honors after averaging 7.3 points, 8.9 rebounds and 1.3 assists per game.

Ty Bates, Kameron Moss and Chance Warren all earned a spot on the District 9-2A first team. Moss led the Wildcats with 11.1 points per game to go along with 2.8 rebounds and 2.2 assists. Bates was second on the team, averaging 9.2 points with 6.4 rebounds and 1.8 steals. Chance Warren was third on the team in scoring, averaging 9.1 points and 4.8 rebounds per game.

Hayden Hilbers and Kline Mayo took home second team all-district selections. Hilbers poured in 5.4 points, 3.3 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1.4 steals. Mayo logged 7.3 points and a team-high 2.7 assists.

Hudson Williams earned honorable mention accolades while Hunter Simms earned a spot on the all-defensive team.

Girls

The Lady Cats (21-10) shared a district championship before exiting in the bi-district round against Haskell. Archer City head coach Amy Huseman chose to hang up her whistle after an illustrious 20 year coaching career that included three state championships.

Aspyn Huseman and Mallory Maxwell shared MVP honors for the district. Huseman averaged 13.1 points, 3.0 steals, 3.0 assists and 2.9 rebounds while Maxwell chipped in 11.0 points per game to go along with 2.7 assists, 6.4 rebounds, 4.1 steals and 1.6 blocks.

Maddie Lopez and Bailey Grant earned first team honors. Grant poured in 9.0 points and 6.7 rebounds while Lopez dropped 7.3 points, 4.3 rebounds, 2.1 assists and 2.2 steals.

Jill Liles and Olivia Vogtsberger were named second team all-district. Liles averaged 2.2 points, 1.2 steals and 1.8 rebounds while Vogtsberger contributed 5.6 points and 6.1 rebounds. Sadiee Strachan earned honorable mention accolades. ACN Super 6 Selections:
