Cowan, Maxwell garner TGCA All-State honors
Archer City’s Mallory Maxwell and Holliday’s Sarah Cowan picked up all-state recognition from the Texas Girls Coaches Association for their performances on the hardwood this winter.
Maxwell led the Lady Cats to an outright district championship. The junior guard averaged 13.3 points, 4.0 steals, 3.0 assists, 3.5 rebounds and 1.5 blocks per game to garner District MVP honors.
