Lady Eagles scratch Lady cats in season opener

Volleyball is back in Archer County. The wait is finally over as the Holliday Lady Eagles hosted the Childress Lady Cats in the first match of the season on the hardwood Monday, Aug. 11.

The 3:00 p.m. mid-day matchup wasn’t relatively close for the Lady Eagles, as they cruised to an easy 3-0 sweep for their season opener. Childress never got within 10 points of Holliday in any of the three sets.
