The Windthorst Trojans trekked south to face the top ranked 2A Lipan Indians Friday, Dec 15. The Indians overwhelmed the Trojans, winning handedly 59-30. The first quarter looked promising for the Trojans, scoring ten points while holding the Indians to just 13. The Trojan offense cooled off in the second, only scoring eight points. Windthorst High School had multiple students advancing to the Regional Academic meet following strong performances in the district meet earlier this month. For Windthorst, Levi Hoffman, Tanner Doyal, Maddison Farris and Diego Sanchez will advance to the regional meet at Grayson College in Denison on April 26-27.
