Aubree Hoegger, a 4-H member from Scotland, captured Champion Cow with Hoegger FF Gentry's Bar in the Jersey classification at the 2024 Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo (FWSSR) on January 16. The 2024 Show is hosting junior exhibitors from across Texas competing for awards and more than $34,300 in Junior Dairy Cattle Show premiums.

As we begin a new month, we look toward Ash Wednesday and the season of Lent. Lent is a season of forty days, not counting Sundays, which (this year) begins on Ash Wednesday, February 14th and ends on Holy Saturday, March 30th.
