Holliday (9-5) concluded its 2024 tournament season with a 3-2 mark at the Muenster tournament this past weekend. The Eagles earned splits on the first two days of tournament play before ending the tournament season on a high note with a dominant win.

Keitenn Bristow just put together one of the greatest individual seasons of basketball Archer County has ever seen. Not only did he lead Holliday to a 34-3 record and first appearance in the state tournament in 81 years, he also took home District 7-3A MVP honors after a monster final season for the Eagles.

The Windthorst Trojanettes (2-0) travelled to the home of the Petrolia Lady Pirates (0-1) for district softball action on Wednesday, March 13. The Trojanettes were coming off a pair of tournament victories over higher classified opponents, while the Lady Pirates were aiming to shake off their first loss of district just two days prior.

Windthorst junior Wyatt Steinberger was named the Region 6 Division 4 champion for the 148-pound weight class on Friday, Mar. 8.

Petrolia got themselves a winner. Holliday head baseball coach Brad Blassingame was named the Pirates’ next Athletic Director over the weekend after former AD Byron West was reassigned in January.
