Hometown Gardener

Body
It rained good around 3 o’clock this Sunday morning. We have 1.8” in the gauge today. This was so welcome after the heat wave last week. The weather guys said Friday was the hottest day so far this summer. We were out laying stone on our current landscape. We were obliged to lay our tools in the shade so they would not burn our hands. We worked straight through lunch and all were back at the nursery by max heat around 4 PM… “Not our first rodeo.”
