Organization raises funds to feed Holliday families

Body The Holliday Senior Citizens Organization is raising funds this year with a Thanksgiving meal and smoked ham sales. The organization uses guidelines established by the Wichita Falls Area Food Bank to provide free meals to qualifying low-income families.

Santa Letters and Christmas Picture Contest

Body This year, in addition to Santa Letters, we will have a Christmas picture contest. We welcome all students in PK-3 to participate in Santa Letters for publication to the Archer County News. Letters will be published December 17 in our special edition.

Zellers, Holliday block Brownfield to move on to regional finals

Body Bree Zellers was nearly unstoppable, collecting a team-high 15 kills as the Holliday Lady Eagles upset No. 9 Brownfield in a 3-0 sweep (25-17, 25-20, 25-22) on Tuesday, Nov. 10, at Jim Ned High School in Tuscola. “Bree was on-fire,” Holliday head coach Wendy Parker said.
