MSU Texas COVID-19 Clinics

MSU Texas is pleased to announce a continued partnership with the Texas Department of Emergency Management (TDEM) and the Texas Military Department (TMD) to host COVID-19 vaccine clinics that each Thursday throughout May as supply is available. Each vaccine clinic will be from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Sikes Lake Center, located on the MSU Texas south campus just off of Midwestern Parkway.

Holliday councilmen sworn into another term

The excitement of elections is over and Holliday City Council places three and five were sworn in on Monday, May 10. Councilman place five, Don Wadsworth said he ran again because he felt he had done a pretty good job so far and did not know if anyone else would run.

Eagles run into Wall

Holliday (29-5) was plagued with unluckiness in its game three loss to Wall. The Eagles saw their 2021 season come to a close following an 8-3 setback to the Hawks in the area round playoffs.

Trojans stave off late rally by Cooper

The Windthorst Trojans held off a late rally by Cooper to advance to the regional quarterfinals following a 12-4 and 12-5 win at Denton Ryan High School last week. The Trojans raced out to an early 7-1 lead after the first two frames in game one, chasing the Bulldogs starter after just 20 pitches.

Lady Eagles advance to regional semis for first time since 2005

Holliday (34-1) punched its ticket to the regional semifinals for the first time since 2005 after sweeping Brock, 3-1 and 8-1, in the regional quarterfinal round last weekend in Graham. The Lady Eagles, winners of 22-straight games, meet Lamesa (20-5) on Friday, May 21 and Saturday, May 22 on the campus of Abilene Christian.
