Body Archer City (20-11-1) was unable to come up with a timely hit as the Lady Cats fell in a one-game playoff to Rio Vista, 2-1, in the area round on Saturday, May 8, in Mineral Wells.

Body Tara Tackett was at her best this weekend in Windthorst’s sweep of Tolar in the area round. The sophomore right-hander allowed two runs on 10 hits with five walks and five strikeouts over 14.0 innings of work to punch the Trojanettes ticket to the regional quarterfinals.
