A Lakeside City man was arrested for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon against a family member after reportedly stabbing his grandfather on the evening of Monday, May 10. According to a probable cause affidavit, at approximately 7 p.m.

Holliday (32-1) pounded out 31 runs in a two-game sweep of Ballinger on Friday, May 7, in Stamford to earn the team’s first regional quarterfinal berth since 2015. The Lady Eagles posted a 21-0 win in the series opener before coming up with a 10-0 win in the finale to complete the sweep.

The Sheriff’s Office received 91 calls for service last week. As this report is being written there were 25 inmates 5 being female in the Archer County Jail. 17 arrests were made this week 7 being felonies and 10 misdemeanors.
