Holliday ISD's Andrew Draper, Maddie Reynolds, Kathryn Donoho and Colten Ellis won the 3A UIL state current events competition. Holliday ISD is now back to back to back state champions in the event. Taggart wins UIL state news writing competition

Archer City’s Candace Taggart won the Conference 2A State Championship in News Writing. She won the event at the 2021 Academic Spring Meet Saturday, May 1. Cemetery Foundation seeks funds for upkeep of grounds

The Archer City Cemetery Foundation recently sent out requests for support from previous donors after finding itself low on funds to pay for maintenance and utilities. Most cemeteries that provide routine upkeep of the grounds charge an expensive plot fee, but in 1883 the cemetery land was donated to the citizens of the city by E.H.
