Wolfs receive Helen Heyser Award

Body
Danny and Vivan Wolf were awarded the J.V. and Helen Heyser Award at the Annual Texas Junior Angus State Show. The Wolf's were awarded this in 2020; however, they did not recieve their plaque until the 2021 show. This award is given to those who sponsor, promote and work hard to support the Texas Junior Angus Association. The Wolf's have given over $5,000 in scholarship money to graduating seniors who have excelled in agricultural related programs. The scholarship started off with proceeds from the sale of their son's bull at the Best of the West Texas Bull Sale in Fort Worth. Since that time, they continue to give a $1,000 scholarship to a graduating senior. The J.V. and Helen Heyser Award originates from the namesake of the couple who started the Texas Junior Angus Association in 1972. The Heyser's were advisors for many years and enjoyed ranching and producing their Angus Cattle. The Heyser's and their cattle remained on the farm until the passing of J.V Heyser. The Texas Junior Angus Association annually gives away this award to those who are passionate about supporting their Juniors. Courtesy photo
