Body The Sheriff’s Office received 82 calls for service last week. As this report is being written there were 35 inmates with four being female in the Archer County Jail. 13 arrests were made this week 10 being felonies and three misdemeanors.

Body After a tremendous year on baseball and softball diamond for all three Archer County schools, I felt these athletes deserved a little extra recognition. With that said, I’m debuting the Archer County News Diamond Dozen.

Body Mary Beth Longino, age 74, of Henrietta, passed away Friday, May 7, 2021, in Hospice of Wichita Falls. Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m.

Body The Holliday ISD School Board met for its scheduled meeting on Monday, June 14, at the administration building. Michelle Box of Zonda Education provided a demographics study for the board “We did see a tiny bit of a slowdown in historical enrollment this year,” Box said.
