The Royal Theater in Archer City recently announced the rest of its 2021 season, and it will feature a handful of familiar singers and entertainment shows through the end of the year. “We went all last year with really just one Texasville Opry, and then things shut down due to COVID-19,” board member Jerry Phillips said.

41st Annual Windthorst Dairy Derby results

The 41st annual Dairy Derby 5k, Health Walk and Fun Run Children’s Races were held Sunday, June 6, at the Windthorst ISD football field and track with Coltyn Hale winning the 5k with a time of 20:45.

Wildcats qualify for state 7-on-7 tourney

Archer City clinched a berth in the state 7-on-7 tournament set for June 24-25 at Veteran’s Park in College Station. The Wildcats qualified for the state meet by defeating Albany, 20-14, in the championship game on Saturday, June 5, in Archer City.
