Workforce Solutions North Texas will be hosting a Job Fair Week, June 21 through June 25. The organization will be having industry specific sub events (see schedule below). The event will be open Monday through Friday from 1 p.m. to 4 pm, with veteran’s preference from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m.

The Sheriff’s Office received 76 calls for service last week. As this report is being written there were 26 inmates with three being female in the Archer County Jail. 21 arrests were made this week 11 being felonies and 10 misdemeanors.

Archer City ISD accepts donation for new football jerseys and helmets

Intrigue ensued within the discussion to accept the donation of funds to purchase football helmets and jerseys for players, during the Archer City ISD school board meeting on May 24. “From Trojan Medical Supply Corporation there is a check for $16,626 and it is for 44 new football helmets and will cover partial cost for jerseys as well,” Superintendent, C.D.
