Parkey places 8th at FWSSR
Body
Isabelle Parkey, of Archer City FFA, placed 8th out of a class of 62, with her Class 3 Light Weight European Cross Steer at the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo. There are 1,500 steers that compete at the FWSSR with only 270 making the Sale of Champions; only the top 10 placings of each class make the sale. This has been her first year showing a steer and is the same steer who recently was Grand Champion at the Archer County Livestock Show. After the sale, Isabelle was asked to interview with the Cowboy Channel to share her experience at the FWSSR. Isabelle is an 8th grader at Archer City and the daughter of David and Vanessa Parkey.
