Jenna Veitenheimer, of Scotland, received the Catholic Life Insurance All American Scholar Award. Veitenheimer, who is the daughter of Laurie and Kenneth Veitenheimer, is a senior at Windthorst High School. She will attend Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls this fall. The city of Archer City, Archer City ISD, city of Windthorst, Windthorst ISD and city of Holliday saw new faces chosen to represent the voters in the May 7 election. In the city of Archer City mayoral race, Jake Truette received 206 votes, or 81.10%, to succeed Kelvin Green.
