Thank you to everyone who spread the word and donated to the Archer Public Library during Texoma Gives! Together we raised a total of $2,035! We are already busy planning the Summer Reading Program for 2023, and we hope to make it the best one yet. What a wonderful and supportive community Archer County is. We couldn’t do this without you! ************* Former Super Bowl MVP quarterback Zach Bridger hasn’t seen his ex-wife, Rebecca Pratt, for some time—not since their volatile marriage imploded—so he’s shocked to receive a life-altering call about her. Rebecca has been placed on life support after a violent assault, and he—despite their divorce—has medical power-of-attorney. Zach is asked to make an impossible choice: keep her on life support or take her off of it. Buckling under the weight of the responsibility and the glare of public scrutiny, Zach ultimately walks away, letting Rebecca's parents have the final say.

Don't get 'triggered'

Body
We are living in a time where people seem to be “on edge” and it doesn’t have to be that way. Anger is on display in a fight for parking spaces, a fastfood order not being correct and even something as small as a package being one day late. There’s a new phrase for that…. “They got Triggered”! There must be a kinder way to get through life.

Eagles romp 10th-ranked Idalou, 37-7

Body
Holliday churned out nearly 400 yards on the ground, averaging 8.7 yards per carry in a 37-7 romp of previously 10th-ranked Idalou. The Eagles moved up to No. 2 in the DCTF/AP rankings following the win. Regional rival and postseason nemesis Gunter remains No. 1. “Some of the teams that are normally as good as anybody in the state are a little down,” Eagles head coach Frank Johnson said. “It’s been a rebuilding year for several teams we’ve got on our schedule. We didn’t know that when we scheduled them. I think we’ve got a chance to be good eventually. We’ve still got some work to do. I felt like we made strides tonight, especially with some of these backups.”
