Two Windthorst High School students, Bree Kirk and Koda Sternadel, have earned academic honors from the College Board National Recognition Programs. These National Recognition Programs grant underrepresented students with academic honors that can be included on college and scholarship applications and connect students with universities across the country, helping them meaningfully connect to colleges and stand out during the admissions process.

Michael B. Clifton, known by many as “Cowboy” or “Mike”, passed away Aug. 13, 2022 in Lindsay. Mr. Clifton was born in Olney, on Aug. 6, 1958. He graduated high school in Archer City. Mr. Clifton worked for Boeing for many years before retirement. His greatest joys were going out to eat and spending time with his family, particularly his grandson.
