During its council meeting on Monday, Oct. 10, the Holliday City Council adopted an ordinance which will put limits on who and where a gold cart and other off-road vehicles can be driven on city streets.

The Archer County Commissioner’s Court discussed what to do with the county’s contribution to Archer City Ambulance Service since the service will end on Nov. 1 and be contracted to American Medical Response.

The Windthorst ISD approved the purchase of window safety film for the district’s outside facing windows during its board meeting on Monday, Oct. 10.

When voters hit the polls for the start of early voting on Monday, Oct. 24, they will experience a big change as Archer County will use its new voting machines for the first time.

The Sheriff’s Office received 157 calls for service this past week. As this report is being written there are 15 inmates and three being female in the Archer County Jail.
