Second-ranked Holliday held Valley View to a meager 37-yards of total offense and four first downs in a 55-0 drubbing over the Eagles. Despite turning the ball over three times via fumble, Holliday managed its first shutout of the season and lowered its points allowed per game to 10.2 after the win.

Volleyball Roundup: Holliday, Windthorst earn postseason berths

Holliday and Windthorst both ensured themselves of playing a little more volleyball once November rolls around. The Lady Eagles and Trojanettes each locked up, at the very least, a postseason bid with an opportunity to put the finishing touches on a district championship in the coming matches.
