Amy Jackson, age 55, of Scotland, passed away peacefully Saturday, Oct. 1, 2022, at her residence after a hard-fought battle with a rare bile duct cancer where she turned a three-month expectancy into a year and a half, showing what a fighter she really was in anything she put her faith and mind to. Vigil service and rosary will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 4, followed by Mass being celebrated at 11 a.m. at St. Boniface Catholic Church with Rev. Michael Moloney, Pastor of St. Mary’s and St. Boniface Catholic Church, officiating. Interment will be in St. Boniface Cemetery under the direction of Aulds Funeral Home of Archer City. Amy was born Nov. 9, 1966 in Olney, Texas to Anton August “Tony” Wolf and Mary Gladys Vieth Wolf. Amy attended school in Windthorst and then graduated from Wichita Falls High School. After graduation she earned her cosmetology license from Aladdin Beauty College in Wichita Falls. Amy was a beautician for several years. She worked as a nurse’s aide at the Wichita Falls State Hospital and later was a plant worker for Howmet in Wichita Falls.
