The Holliday City Council adopted a resolution which prioritized its remaining American Rescue Plan Act funds during its council meeting on Monday, Nov. 14.
After a run through the Class 2A-Region I Tournament this past weekend in San Angelo, the Windthorst Trojanettes are once again going back to the UIL State Volleyball Tournament. Windthorst (39-8) makes its 23rd overall appearance, the second- most among all classifications, and can pass East Bernard (13) for most state championships with a pair of wins.

The Archer County Commissioner’s Court approved the creation of a blanket interlocal agreement with rates for municipalities who wish to have the county use its asphalt zipper on its roads during its meeting on Monday, Nov. 14 Pct. 2 Commissioner Darin Wolf said he was approached by the city of Windthorst to zip up a road for them and he felt there needed to be a uniform price and agreement set for all entities which wanted the county to zip its roads.
