Archer City survived a late surge by Munday (37) to clinch a share of the district championship on Friday, Nov. 4, with a 41-27 victory. The Wildcats split the district championship with Windthorst and Seymour but due to tiebreaker scenarios, enter the postseason as the league’s No. 2 seed.

At multiple points in Tuesday night’s regional quarterfinal match against Peaster, the Lady Eagles hopes and dreams seemed dire. And multiple times the Lady Eagles silenced the naysayers.

For the first time since 2018, the Trojanettes are heading back to the regional tournament. For the first time in school history, second- ranked Holliday has produced back-to-back 10-0 records in the regular season following a 38-7 rout of Callisburg to clinch the district championship. Additionally, the Eagles became Texoma’s first team to reach 10 wins in six straight seasons.

Eagles, Lady Eagles and Belcher finish four th Just as he’s done all season, Noah Strohman finished first. In his first trip to Old Settler’s Park in Round Rock, Strohman won gold.

Most individuals work hard in one area or another. We give our best efforts to that which we enjoy the most, and the tasks we least enjoy we tend to neglect. We would avoid referring to such neglect as laziness but that is what it amounts to.

The symbol Yin & Yang is so old that history does not tell us who first invented it or what it first described. We know it came out of China thousands of years ago. In modern times it is used to express opposites. Hot/cold, day/night, wet/ dry, good/evil, ect. This symbol shows that as Yin increases, Yang naturally decreases. Yet at the fullest point of Yin there is a tiny dot of Yang and vice versa. So the symbol also shows a balance between the two. I think Yin & Yang perfectly describes what we speak of when we talk about balance in Nature.
