Body Patrick Joe Maxwell, Jr., age 53, of Wichita Falls, Texas passed away Thursday evening, April 20, 2023, from a traffic accident. Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m.

Body The Holliday Lady Eagles nearly doubled up second- place Brock to win the District 7/8-3A Area track meet on Thurs., April 20, in Jacksboro. Holliday finished with 147 points topping Brock’s 79 by 68 points while sending 11 athletes to the regional meet.

Body The Sheriff’s Office received 148 calls for service this past week. As this report is being written there are 30 inmates and 2 being female in the Archer County Jail.
