Iowa Park man charged in fatal wreck

A year after a deadly single vehicle wreck left three teenagers dead, the driver of the vehicle has been charged for his role in the crash. Two Iowa Park male teenagers and a Henrietta female teenager were pronounced dead following a single vehicle wreck north of Holliday in the early morning of Monday, Oct.

Trojans' defense cages Tigers

The Windthorst Trojan defense has been unjustly overlooked by many not part of the Windthorst faithful. Since Sept. 13 of this year, the Trojans haven’t allowed more than five points scored in a game, and on Friday, Nov. 1, that run of dominance continued against the Electra Tigers, holding the Tigers to just six points.

Trojanettes earn codi strict championship

The Windthorst Trojanettes are District 8-2A champions once again. On Tuesday, Oct. 29, after sweeping the Olney Lady Cubs 25-9, 25-8, and 25-10 at home, the Trojanettes took home the dis-trict title, sharing the honor with the Nocona Lady Indians. This marks the third year in a row the Trojanettes have captured the district championship.

Wildcats sink Pirate’s Senior Night

The Wildcat dynamic duo of senior quarterback Landon Smith and senior running back Noah Cornell combined for 365 rushing yards in Archer City’s 35-20 victory over the Petrolia Pirates on Friday, Nov. 1.
