Edna graduated from St. Joseph School of Nursing. She was married to Charles Anderle for 65 years. Edna worked in nursing for St. Joseph’s Hospital in Fort Worth from 1959 – 1973, then went to Arlington Memorial Hospital where she retired with 40 years in nursing.

Eagles trample Bearcats on Senior Night

The Holliday Eagles haven’t dropped a game to the Henrietta Bearcats since 2016, and on Friday, Nov. 1, that didn’t change. The Eagles, while on Senior Night, never trailed in their 56-7 marathon over the Henrietta on Friday at Don Lucy Field, scoring 38 points in the first half alone, while keeping the Bearcats scoreless in that same time frame.

We gave it our all but came up short in the election for Archer County Attorney. Tuesday night, the Archer County Elections Administration informed me that I did not secure enough votes to win the election for Archer County Attorney. The Archer County elections officials have my complete confidence in the handling of the election.

Lady Eagles complete near-perfect district run

The Holliday Lady Eagles finished their district season with a perfect 12-0 record on Tuesday, Oct. 29 after sweeping the Jacksboro Tigerettes 3-0 at home on Holliday’s Senior Night. The Lady Eagles dropped just one set throughout the entire 12 matchups.
