Body The Windthorst Trojanettes’ underdog softball season came to an end on Friday, May 2, losing to the Whitewright Lady Tigers in the Area round of the playoffs. The young Trojanettes exhausted all efforts in both games, even nearly completing the comeback in Game 2.

Conrady wins WISD trustee election

Body Windthorst ISD voters have decided a new School Board Trustee Place 5 with the results of the May 3 election now posted. Jody Clay Conrady received 124 votes (51.67%) to defeat Nicole Schroeder in a closely contested race to earn the seat.
