Body Lakeside City Mayor LeeAnn Burnett proclaimed June 27 as Kristen Yancey Day during the Lakeside City council meeting on Tuesday, July 21. “Whereas dedicated citizens who generously volunteer their time and talent to strengthen our community through their example,” Burnett said.

Body The Holliday City Council discussed an exemption for sewer rates for an increase in water meter size to two inches on Monday, July 20. Mayor Brad Litteken said Jeff Boyd with Lonestar Wastewater Services is requesting the exemption.

Body The Texas Department of State Health Services is offering FREE Back-To-School immunizations at their office located at 511 S. Cedar Street in Archer City. Adult immunizations are also available. There is no charge for immunizations to eligible children and adults.
