Holliday Council Approves Sewer Rate Exemption

Body The Holliday City Council discussed an exemption for sewer rates for an increase in water meter size to two inches on Monday, July 20. Mayor Brad Litteken said Jeff Boyd with Lonestar Wastewater Services is requesting the exemption.

Body Larry McMurtry’s novel, The Last Picture Show, and its film adaptation have both been universally acclaimed by literary and film critics. Reviewers praised the novel, published in 1966, for its raw, unsentimental realism and its authentic portrayal of small-town Texas.
