Windthorst ISD in uncommon election situation

Body

Windthorst ISD will conduct a school board trustee election for two places on the board on May 6. However, with the passing of one the candidates, Brad Wolf, the district could be facing a unique and uncommon situation should he receive enough votes to win the election. The positions up for election are Place 6 held by Chad Steinberger and Place 7 which was held by Wolf. J.D. Steinberger and Stuart Winter have applied for place 6 while Wolf and Alysha Humpert had applied for place 7.

Clarity in the midst of confusion

Body
Years ago, when I was a youth pastor, I had a guy’s cookout at someone’s house that had a big pool. The sun went down and the lights in the pool came on. I had the bright idea of listening to someone tell me how to dive. I had jumped into pools, cannon- balled and other silly stunts but I could never dive. Someone was trying to coach me through diving for the first time and I finally did it! My Hands and head went in first with feet soon flipping above my head and into the water I went. When I headed towards the bottom of the pool, panic set in. I opened my eyes underwater and all I could see was bright lights and foggy water. I panicked because I was disoriented, and somehow lost which way was up. I obviously managed to eventually find my way back to the surface of the water with great relief.
